Privacy & Cookie Policy

This page explains what information we collect when you use toadsmoorhouse.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain.

Who we are

Toadsmoor House is operated by Toadsmoor One Ltd, Lewiston House, Toadsmoor Road, Brimscombe, Stroud, GL5 2TB. For anything about your data, email info@toadsmoorhouse.com. We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect

• Booking enquiries. When you use the availability and booking tool, you provide details such as your name, email, dates and party size. This tool is provided by our booking platform and our managing partner, who handle the booking on our behalf.
• The “Stay in touch” form. If you use it, we collect your first name, email, the dates you are hoping for (if you add them) and whether you asked us to keep you posted.
• Analytics and advertising. If you accept cookies, we collect standard usage information (such as pages viewed and general location) and advertising identifiers, through the tools listed below.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and manage your stay.
• To let you know first if booked dates open up, and to share the occasional off-peak offer, only if you asked us to.
• To understand how the site is used and to make our advertising more relevant, only if you accept cookies.

Our legal bases (UK GDPR)

We rely on your consent for marketing messages and for analytics and advertising cookies; on legitimate interests and steps to enter into a contract when we respond to your enquiry and arrange your stay. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Cookies and your choices

We do not set any non-essential cookies until you choose “Accept” on the cookie banner. If you decline, analytics and advertising cookies are not set (we use Google Consent Mode, which still gives us anonymous, modelled figures without storing cookies on your device). You can change your choice at any time using Cookie preferences in the footer.

The tools we use, once you consent, are: Google Analytics and Google Ads (Google LLC) and the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.). These help us measure the site and our advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the partners who help us run the house and this site: our booking and property-management partners, and, where you have consented, Google and Meta for analytics and advertising. We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and contact details only as long as we need them for the purpose you gave them, and no longer than necessary. You can ask us to remove you at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, object to certain uses, or withdraw consent. To do any of these, or to unsubscribe from our occasional emails, just email info@toadsmoorhouse.com. If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can contact the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
